This is the second English novel I've finished. The first one was The Old Man and Sea and a piece of homework, and it was really boring and dull.
I have to say Harry Potter is an interesting book, especially for children. They shall enjoy the magic and spells and the adventure Harry experiences. I prefer the novel to its movie, but the movie had done its best, at least it told me how to pronouce Hermione's name.
The biggest discovery is that I finally know how come there are so many slashes of such a CHILDREN'S BOOK, and I don't need to google to find how many Snape/Harry or Snape/James are there.
While the biggest pity is that my English does not seem to improve a little after reading it. It's easy to understant but difficult to write. I lost my most ability of make full usage of what I've read and learnt. Terrible memory and I do not even try to memorize. Yes, I should have looked up each word in dictionary and copy each word five times!!
I think I will borrow the others and read for fun. I have been far away from English for so long time, maybe it's too difficult to pick them back.
